October 2009!

Yes, it's been about a year since the last post. This could be a pattern but I'm hoping I will actually get on the ball and make this a weekly update. With Jessie being away at school and changes happening all the time, I would love to have a blog journal that I can look back on someday.
We did attend the annual Coppieters Halloween party again this year and it was great! A little cold for Missouri but we had it easy compared to family who live out West or up in the North who already have snow! I can't imagine that.
We've had a really fun October. We've had family come down to Cape and went to Begg's Farm which we LOVE! We have attended our Ward Halloween party which is always a lot of fun...especially seeing how much fun the kids have trunk or treating. :)
Today is actually Halloween and we are hoping to get those pumpkins out today and make them jack-0-lanterns. The kids have been asking me for days and can't wait. We are planning on heading out tonight with my sister and her little ones. Hopefully we'll have some scary witches to take pictures of tonight!

It was senior night at the Jackson football game last night! It's hard to believe that will be the last time Jess will march with the band! It was really fun to go and they had all the seniors and their parents walk onto the field to honor the kids. The band sounded really great and Jackson beat Cape so you couldn't ask for more. :)

Coppieters Halloween party!

the pumpkin patch! Conner ended up with the biggest of all! :) Jess and Hadley

Conner with his cotton candy beard!

Hadley and Payton as vampires! (yes, Payton does look like Harry Potter without glasses!) :)

the littlest vampire!

We had such a great time at the party I had to post some pictures! Lodema did an amazing job and it was so much fun! The kids loved all of it...the nachos!, the hayride, the cotton candy, the trick or treating, and the pumpkin patch!! It had a little bit of everything. :)

well...I thought I was inspired!

Okay...it's been since July. I'm not very consistent but at least I'm trying.

It's been a busy and fun week. Grandparents visiting, swim meet, Primary Program, wedding, senior pictures, High School Musical 3, and pumpkin carving! What more could you want?!

Tonight is the Cape/Jackson football game which everyone in this area looks forward to each year! Big rivalry...so much so that they won't schedule them on Friday nights anymore. Tonight is Jessie's last time to march in high school! They have a pregame show where the seniors and their parents walk out on the field, etc. I'm so sad this has come so quickly....my little girl is going to graduate this year! :(

I've been inspired by Krista

Hi all. I've been meaning to start this blog for so long. My sister in law, Krista, has such a cute blog and I absolutely love reading it so thought I needed to try it myself. I'm terrible at consistently writing in any of my journals or even on our family web site so we'll see how this goes.
